1. Who Sends These Messages

Amp is the trading name of Q7 Systems, Inc. (doing business as “Amp”), based in Ontario, Canada. Employers use Amp to manage their recruiting and hiring, and Amp sends text messages to candidates on those employers’ behalf.

Every message identifies both Amp and the employer it is sent for, so you always know which company is contacting you and who is sending on their behalf.

2. What We Send

Messages relate to a specific job you applied for. They include interview invitations, confirmations, reminders, cancellation and reschedule notices, and privacy notifications.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages to candidates. We do not use these messages to advertise Amp, to advertise the employer’s products or services, or to promote other roles you did not apply for.

You received a message because you applied for a job with the employer named in it, through that employer’s own job application, and that application disclosed that you may receive text messages about your application.

Each employer confirms to us that its application makes this disclosure and that agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of applying for a job. The employer is responsible for the wording of its own application. If you did not apply, email help@runamp.com — we will stop messaging you and look into it.

4. How to Stop

Reply with any of the following words to any message, and we will stop texting you from that number:

STOP · QUIT · END · REVOKE · OPT OUT · CANCEL · UNSUBSCRIBE

You can also tell us to stop in any other clear way, including by replying in your own words or by emailing help@runamp.com.

Two things worth knowing:

  • Each employer has its own number. Opting out of one employer’s messages stops those messages. It does not affect messages sent on behalf of a different employer, which you can stop the same way.
  • We act on your request when we receive it, and in no case later than ten business days. We keep a record that you opted out so that we do not text you again — see Section 9.

5. Getting Help

Reply HELP to any message and we will reply with contact information. You can also email help@runamp.com at any time. You do not need an Amp account to reach us.

For questions about the job itself, about your application, or about a hiring decision, contact the employer directly. They decide; Amp does not.

6. Frequency and Cost

Message frequency varies, because messages follow the progress of your application rather than a schedule.

Message and data rates may apply. Amp does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them under your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.

7. Messages From an AI Agent

Some of these messages are sent, and some replies are handled, by an AI agent rather than a person. Messages say when that is the case.

A human at the employer is responsible for any decision that meaningfully affects you, such as advancing or declining your application. You can ask to speak with a person at any time by replying to a message or emailing help@runamp.com.

8. Delivery and Carriers

Text messages depend on mobile networks we do not control. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and you should not rely on a text message as the only way you will hear from an employer.

These messages are supported on major mobile carriers in the countries where the service is offered. Text messaging is not available to every number, and we cannot send to a landline.

9. Your Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your mobile number, your record of agreeing or opting out, and the messages themselves — and how long we keep them.

In short: we use your mobile information only to deliver and respond to these messages. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message content with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not share opt-in data or consent records with any third party. We disclose this information only to the vendors who deliver the messages, which are our communications platform provider and telephone carriers.

If you ask us to delete your personal information, we still keep a record that you opted out, so that we do not text you again.

10. Changes and Contact

We will update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above shows the most recent revision, and prior versions are available on request.
