Amp for Microsoft Teams
For anything to do with the Amp app for Microsoft Teams — installing it, connecting it to your Amp account, or questions about how your Teams data is handled — email help@runamp.com and include your Microsoft organization name. Two things account for most questions:
Connecting your Microsoft organization to Amp. The first time someone messages the Amp bot from a Microsoft organization Amp doesn’t recognize, the bot replies with an 8-character connection code instead of a greeting. An Amp administrator enters that code in Amp under Settings → Apps and Integrations → Microsoft Teams to link the two. Amp asks for a code rather than guessing which Amp account a Microsoft organization belongs to. The code is valid for 15 minutes — if it expires, message the bot again and it will issue a new one.
The bot says it can’t find your Amp account. Amp matches your Teams identity to your Amp user by email address. If the address you use in Teams isn’t the one you were invited to Amp with, ask your administrator to invite that address under Settings → Users & roles, then message the bot again.
Disconnecting or reconnecting. An administrator can disconnect at any time under Settings → Apps and Integrations → Microsoft Teams. One Microsoft organization connects to one Amp account, so to connect a different Microsoft organization, disconnect the current one first and then connect the new one with a fresh code.

Amp for Slack
For anything to do with the Amp app for Slack — installing it, installing org-wide across a Slack Enterprise Grid, disconnecting a workspace, or questions about how your Slack data is handled — email help@runamp.com and include your Slack workspace name. You can see how Slack data is handled in our Privacy Policy.
Amp for Zoom
For anything to do with the Amp app for Zoom, including connecting it, how interview meetings are created, or questions about how your Zoom data is handled, email help@runamp.com and include the email address on your Zoom account.
Connecting your Zoom account. Everyone who hosts interviews connects their own Zoom account, so the meetings are yours. In Amp, open Profile → Availability, find Zoom under Calendars and meeting links, and choose Connect. Zoom asks you to approve the permissions Amp is requesting, then sends you back to Amp, where the row reads “Connected as” your Zoom address. If Zoom isn’t listed at all, it isn’t switched on for your workspace yet. Your Amp administrator can check Settings → Apps and Integrations; if it is already on there, email us and we’ll tell you what’s outstanding.
What Amp does with the connection. Amp books your candidate interviews as Zoom meetings you host, and puts the join link in the calendar invite. It does the same for hiring-team calls, such as a briefing with a hiring manager. When a call is rescheduled, Amp moves the meeting. When it is canceled, Amp deletes it, so the link the candidate holds is always the right one. If Amp cannot reach Zoom when it books, the invite still goes out, without a Zoom link. Amp also reads the email address and the id of your Zoom user, so it can show you which account is connected. It does not use this access to read, change, or delete anything else in your Zoom account, or any meeting Amp did not book.
The interview notetaker. Where your organization has Amp’s notetaker turned on, it joins the call with your approval and writes up the conversation afterward. You can send it to a call Amp booked, or to another one by pasting its Zoom link, including a meeting you created in Zoom yourself; Amp mints a short-lived pass that lets it into that one call. It asks in the meeting chat before it records, naming the candidate and anyone else it does not recognize as one of your interviewers; your own interviewers are not asked. Recording starts only once each of those people has replied yes, and anyone can type STOP to end it. If anyone replies no, or no reply comes within five minutes, the notetaker leaves without recording and the call goes ahead as normal. Amp then keeps only the question, the replies, and who was in the call, for your organization’s recordings retention period. If the Zoom row says “Reconnect so the notetaker can join your Zoom calls”, you connected before Amp asked for that permission: choose Reconnect and approve it again.
Removing the app. Choose Disconnect on the Zoom row in Profile → Availability at any time, and Amp revokes its access to your Zoom account. You can also remove Amp from the Installed Apps page in the Zoom App Marketplace. Interviews already booked keep the links they have, but Amp cannot create or update Zoom meetings for you again until you reconnect. If Amp warns you that Zoom has been switched off for your workspace, disconnecting is final: you will not be able to reconnect until an administrator turns it back on.
